This podcast is a Christian radio show that features Singapore’s own worship songs and devotionals. In addition to curating all the best of Singapore’s Christian hits, this podcast also features a devotional segment called Amplify Devo Originals, written by Douglas Yeap, designed to refresh and enlighten listeners. Its vision is to see its local worship songs heard not just by Singaporeans but also by people overseas and to be blessed by them. Since Singapore does not have a Christian radio station at present, its goal is to provide wholesome and enriching spiritual content to its listeners. Amplify Podcast SG is the first Christian Radio podcast in Singapore that features local worship music.

Pat Barrett has written worship songs sung by millions of Christians around the world. "Good, Good Father", co-written by Pat Barrett and Anthony Brown, was originally recorded by Housefires and became an international classic hit. In addition to "Good, Good Father", Pat has written other church favourites like "Build My Life".
Furthermore, being based in Atlanta, Pat works closely with Passion, writing songs on their albums such as "The Way" and "Children Of Light". His latest single "Sails" also features Steffany Gretzinger & Amanda Cook from Bethel Music.
Special thanks to Assembly Asia, we managed to get Pat for an interesting "Car" Interview in 2019 where he shared with us his experiences in Singapore, his heart for worship, the importance of local worship and also the advice that his father shared with him regarding songwriting.

Have you ever been under a suspended water bucket at a water amusement park?
